Since we started 7 years ago, we have been planting shade trees in cocoa plantations of our farmers in the Nawa region of Côte d’Ivoire. We have been seeing them grow year by year, produced biomass and sequestrating CO2. The speed of growth in these tropical conditions is phenomenal. Here is a Cedrela tree only planted early 2020 by one of our member farmers of the Green Nawa Initiative. Check its evolution at GPS : 5.7198753 / -6.5469943.
