The FarmStrong Foundation is registered in Switzerland as a Public Interest Foundation with an international focus.  As a result, the Foundation is subject of the surveillance of the Swiss Federal Authorities (DFI) and registered in the Registry of Commerce of Canton de Vaud (CHE-404.685.999).

The Foundation promotes resilient, structured, rural economic development through integrated sustainable agricultural production systems, while contributing to securing basic needs and fundamental human rights, including access to clean drinking water, food security & nutritional needs, disease prevention & basic health care.

This is why improving the producers’ community livelihoods through tailored rural development economic programs is our primary goal.

Reaching out to 150’000 smallholder producers and their families in Côte d’Ivoire and 120’000 in Ghana through a network of 20 agronomists and technicians.

In addition to its Swiss headquarters, FarmStrong Foundation is locally present either through its own local offices or through a local partner representative structure. In Côte d’Ivoire, FarmStrong Foundation has offices in Abidjan and in Soubré. In Ghana, FarmStrong Foundation delivers its programs through its local partner, Cocoa Partners Foundation. In all its programs, FarmStrong Foundation is directly involved in the activities on a daily basis in the different value chains such as cocoa, coffee, cashew, annatto or shea nut.
