Jean-Benoit CHARRIN | Director of Operations
Jean-Benoit Charrin joined the FarmStrong Foundation in 2016 and has a deep understanding of design, management and implementation of not-for-profit development programmes. As the Director of Operations, he brings hands-on international experience on water and land governance reforms.
Jean-Benoit began his career as a human rights lawyer with the Center on Housing Rights and Evictions (COHRE). He continued in the field of land, water and international development as project manager and senior advisor to a number of international NGOs, as well as public agencies and inter-governmental organizations.
Before taking on the role of Director of Operations, Jean-Benoit co-founded and served as the Executive Director of WaterLex, a leading incubator of public law and policy, from 2010-2016, where he advised parliamentarians and governments from over 20 countries on public water law and policy reform processes.
Jean-Benoit is fluent in english, french, spanish and german. He is a graduate of the University of Essex (U.K.) and University of Fribourg (Switzerland).
